Class Description: Students will learn how to facilitate the usage of two stress
management tools that will enhance the effectiveness of select table massage therapy
sessions, “Affirmations” and “Guided Visualization". Course will teach how to read
verbal cues to determine client's strongest modes of learning: visual, auditory, or
kinesthetic; receive instruction in designing sample guided visualization in all 3 modes;
and exchange table massages, utilizing customized 1-3 minute guided visualization..
Students report changes before and after visualization.
This class is for licensed massage therapists who will receive 8 CE units with full class attendance at the end of the class, which includes a one hour lunch break. This Seminar will be taught by Marielle Friedman, of Marielle Friedman Seminars, who is both a NC licensed massage therapist (#1940), as well as a Nationally Approved Provider ( # 897), qualified to teach continuing education classes and seminars to massage therapists seeking Continuing Education Units (CE's) to fulfill their 24 units required for license renewal, through the NCBTMB ( National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork) Class will be taught at Back to Harmony Wellness Center at the Colonnade Executive Suites Conference Rm location at 1811 Sardis Road North Suite 207. Please note: you will not see the sign for "Back to Harmony Wellness Center" until inside building of Colonnade Executive Suites.
